Frequently asked questions

Can QP Advisory register my company with ACRA?

We can prepare and coordinate your company registration. Where the lodgement must be made by a registered filing agent, we will confirm before engagement whether we lodge directly or through a registered partner.

Do I need a company secretary?

Yes. A Singapore company must appoint a company secretary within six months of incorporation. We will explain the options available to you and who would take on the role.

When is my annual return due?

For most private companies, the annual return is filed within seven months after the financial year end, and the AGM (unless dispensed with) is held within six months. Your actual dates depend on your financial year end and company type, so please check with us or ACRA.

Is this legal advice?

No. We provide administrative and compliance support. For legal advice, for example on shareholder disputes or complex constitutional matters, you should consult a Singapore lawyer, and we can coordinate with one you appoint.
